It seems like Valentine’s Day is becoming the most commercialized “holiday” of the year-every big store suddenly goes ballistic and has a “super sale,” complete with decorations to get your valentine something special, whether it’s a diamond ring, a special dinner at a fancy restaurant, or a bottle of One-A-Day Vitamin supplement for Women for only $4.29. I’m not here to say that since I’m single, I don’t care about Valentine’s Day. It’s great that we have a day that we honor a day where everyone does a little extra something for their boyfriend or girlfriend, wife or husband, crush, or even just a good friend. However, we don’t have to pick a specific day such as February 14th to do these kinds of things. Here’s an idea - why don’t ALL of us just do it more often? That would be awesome! You could do something on February 14th, AND another day! Maybe an anniversary? The thing is to keep an open mind. You don’t have to do what everyone else does. So what if you missed out on Valentine’s Day? You could probably get a reservation at a BETTER restaurant for the weekend after, and just say it was for Valentine’s Day! That is my thought for today: Keep an open mind. Which brings me to my next thought…Primerica.
A good friend of mine, Allan, is a successful Primerican, and he has heard almost every story there is to hear: about how Primerica sucks, how Primerica is a pyramid scheme, and how it didn’t work out for them. He’s created a website to clear all of that up: Primerica. I’m not saying that that becoming a part of Primerica is an be-all end-all, but I’d rather not have people completely dismissing it outright without having another perspective. Keeping an open mind about these things will allow you to see many other things that the vast majority of people out there never seem to pick up on. Primerica may not work for everyone, but don’t simply count yourself out because you’re bitter about other people being successful and are just trying to find an excuse as to why they are succesful and you aren’t. It can be boiled down to pure statistics-just think about it.
Oh yeah - Happy Valentine’s Day!

Alex (my b/f) told me that Primerica or whatever is owned by his company, Citigroup or something…is that true?
