Cool enough for you?

Living in Seattle, you get used to the rainy weather. It’s weird; car-washes are always open, no one is afraid to get wet, and people here also think that 70° is a heat wave. All in all, it’s pretty awesome, and contrary to public opinion, Washingtonians aren’t that suicidal. In fact, there’s even a great urban vibe here! There’s a place called Triple in Ballard that sells some rare, high-quality sneakers. My friend’s brother, Blaine, helps run the shop, and they just had their very successful grand opening last Saturday (February 9). Here’s a pic of the store:

Triple Seattle

The store setup is awesome; it’s spacious, and is even catering to the local art community by providing a special room as a gallery to display and sell their works. It reminds me of The Attic and Undefeated (that shoe store that Chris Brown comes out of in the “Yo! (Excuse Me Miss)” music video) back at home. Lately, I’ve been surfing the net and finding the most random items ever, and my friend Gina helped me find another one of these crazy websites, and it’s called The Cool Hunter. They have some great ideas about everything, and I even found some awesome pieces of architecture that I have never seen before:

The Friendly Garage

And after fiddling with CSS and PHP for hours on end, I feel like I have better grasp on programming than I ever had before. Me likes! I created this new theme and made the first 3-column K2 theme with the columns down each side! If you want to know more about K2, Wordpress, and even Photoshop, I can now say with confidence that I have had some AMATEUR experience. Yet another thing to add to my repertoire.
